dispatch from colorado

Last month we visited our friends Jodie and Nick in Boulder. Colorado is one of five states I haven't visited yet, and it was so different from my expectations! In my head, all of Colorado is a snowy mountaintop, and it was amazing to see how much the environment changed between Boulder, the Flatirons, Breckenridge and the Rockies. Along with snowboarding and exploring with them, I ended up with lots of photographs of the sprawling sky and open land.

Lots of new work will come from these :)

  1. Gorgeous photos, Mae! Before I even read the last sentence of your post, I thought "she's going to make some amazing pieces with these photos!". Haha. :)

  2. This makes me miss Colorado! I lived there for about 10 years before moving back to Boston. I lived in the Springs, where the prairie meets the mountains. I, too, was surprised at the open sky and flatlands. Love your pics, and look forward to your new work!
