In anticipation of a very busy rest of summer, Mike and I spent most of last week camping on the Rhode Island coast with his family and friends, watching fireworks, sailing, playing in the waves, kayaking in a salt pond, and eating seafood. The weather flip-flopped between hot, sunny skies and intense thunder and lightening storms, both of which I love equally. It was also a great location to test out my new Canon ultra wide angle lens, and now I have lots of new photos to create art with.
Ooh, summer... I just can't get enough.
oh, i can't wait to see what you do with all these shots!

ReplyDeleteI just started a little card company in our valley and wondered if I need to get "copyright permission" to quote some people.
For instance: "The mountains are calling and I must go." --- John Muir
Started out with Bible quotes + ancient poets, but now I've found more recent noteworthy statements.
What should I do?

amazing photos (is that new camera waterproof)...can hardly wait to see what you do with them in your art...I have recently started incorporating my photos (which I love taking and, if you ask my kids, I take in excess) into my art and it is so exciting!!
ReplyDeleteLove that first fence photo!
ReplyDeleteCool photos. It looks like it was shot by a professional. Can't wait to see the next photos you'll be posting.
