days in boats
Spent a few days of the long weekend sailing in Narragansett Bay, Rhode Island.
Mike's family's boat is big enough to sleep on so he and I try to stay there a couple weekends each summer... this summer I'm determined to get more comfortable in bigger waves and learn enough to be helpful when we're sailing. It's so good to relax and recharge while simultaneously having painting ideas brewing in my mind... I've gotten to the point where whenever I look at something I appreciate it for what it is but also what it could be in a photograph or painting without consciously trying. Lots of good stuff to come from this summer.
