Inspired by the storms rolling through Boston harbor this week, I spent some of last night experimenting with teeny tiny canvases, dark stormy colors and lots of texture. I picked up some silver oil leaf at Blick Art and used it to try to give a defining shimmer to the ridges and edges created by the layers of paper, stamps and paint.
"Two Hours Before Dawn" and "One Hour Before Dawn" both sold as soon as I listed them on Etsy, but it was so fun to work in this miniature scale that I might create a few more this size.
