Mike and I headed up to White Mountains National Forest in New Hampshire last week for his annual family camping trip. Luckily the U.S. government shutdown (what ridiculous words to write, by the way) didn't really affect us and we did a couple fun hikes in the forest. Here are a couple quick snaps from the trip and a little scripting I did in my sketchbook for a new painting that swirled around in my head the whole trip.
